My Story

When Maria was 26 years old, her mother gave her a(n) panda for a pet. She and her panda went everywhere together. On mondays they went to (the) park at moorning and then they went to (the) home. Her pet liked to eat pears. Maria really liked to eat pears too, so she asked her mother to give them some for dinner. In the evening, Maria liked to sit on the chair and watch intermedio. Sometimes she felt happy when her panda had a(n) desk.

The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones: The Rolling Stones are English rock band.
The band formed in 1962.
The group was formed by Mick Jagger (vocalist), and Keith richards (guitarist). The pianist as Ian Steward, until his death in 1985. The band's early recordings were mainly covers of Ameican blues and R&B songs. After first sucess in the UK, they became popular in the US during the British Invasion of the early 1960s. Their 1965 ¨I Can't Get No Satisfaction¨established The Rolling Stones as a premier rock and roll act. Jones, the original reader died in 1969 and was replaced by Mick Taylor. The Rolling Stones have released 22 studios albums in the UK (24 in the US), eight concert albums (nine in the US) and numerous compilations; and have sold more than 200 milions albums worldwide. In the 1989 the Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

In 1996 she started the group la Oreja de Van Gogh, sang in atolent contest cut they didn’t win.

They went to another talent contest, they won!

First,they got a contract with Sony, in 1997.

Their first CD “Dile al sol” in 1999.

Next the group played in 150 concerts.

Two years later, they recorded a second CD, “El viage de Copperpot”.

In2001, she sang with Alex Ubago on his first CD.

My best friend

My best friend's name is Maria Teresa.

She's got long dark hair, she's got brown eyes and

she usually wears jeans and a black jacket.

She lives in Lloret de Mar in Spain.

She speaks Catalan, Spanish and studies English.

I like her because she's friendly, confident and cheerful.
For example when I'm sad she speaks with me and me laught together.

She likes drawing playing the guitar, shopping and computer games.

She hates insects and chocolate ice cream.
