The Rolling Stones: The Rolling Stones are English rock band.
The band formed in 1962.
The group was formed by Mick Jagger (vocalist), and Keith richards (guitarist). The pianist as Ian Steward, until his death in 1985. The band's early recordings were mainly covers of Ameican blues and R&B songs. After first sucess in the UK, they became popular in the US during the British Invasion of the early 1960s. Their 1965 ¨I Can't Get No Satisfaction¨established The Rolling Stones as a premier rock and roll act. Jones, the original reader died in 1969 and was replaced by Mick Taylor. The Rolling Stones have released 22 studios albums in the UK (24 in the US), eight concert albums (nine in the US) and numerous compilations; and have sold more than 200 milions albums worldwide. In the 1989 the Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
